2012 Milward Simpson Finalists Announced

Now that the school year is over, it's time to determine who the best overall male and female athlete is.

The 5 finalists for the 2012 Milward Simpson Award have been announced.

The award is considered to be the highest honor that an athlete can receive.

This year's awards will be given out on June 16th in Casper, and is for graduating seniors only.

Boys Finalists:

Josh Cragoe - Powell (Football, Basketball, Track and Baseball)

Matt Eddington - Evanston (Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track)

Tanner Simpson - Lander (Football, Basketball, Track)

Daniel Wille - Little Snake River (Football, Cross-Country, Basketball, Track)

Riley Ryan - Sheridan (Football, Basketball, Soccer)

Girls Finalists:

Kereston Thomas - Rawlins (Basketball, Track and Field)

Brooke Myers - Cody (Volleyball, Track and Field)

Mikayla Brower - Torrington (Cross Country, Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Track and Field)

McKenzie Hellbaum - Wheatland (Volleyball, Golf, Basketball)

Christie Schiel - Cheyenne Central (Cross-Country, Basketball, Soccer)
