Natrona County High School golfer Maggie Teague didn't realize she wanted to play at the college level until just recently. But after a 5th place finish at the 4A State Tournament in Sheridan in the fall, Teague found a home for college golf at Chadron State in Nebraska. Teague shot rounds of 85 and 83 at the State Tournament to earn that 5th place finish as her team took 2nd in the 4A team standings. In her junior year. Teague placed 8th at the 4A State Tournament as she carded rounds of 84 and 82. As a sophomore, she finished 19th at State so she has improved greatly in 3 years on the course.

Teague also played basketball for Natrona in her junior year appearing in 14 games and played softball for the Fillies as well. Chadron State is a Division II school that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
