Payton Reese has signed to play volleyball in her hometown of Rock Springs with the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs.

Reese is a two-time team captain and played at the varsity level for the last two seasons. She helped Rock Springs to its first 4A state volleyball tournament appearance in seven years last fall. The Tigers went 25-11 last year and placed second at the 4A West Regional tournament.

One of two seniors on the squad in 2019, Payton finished second in kills for Rock Springs with 205. She also had 52 total blocks, which was third on the team, 103 digs, and 11 service aces.

The Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs had a 24-11 overall record last year. They were 11-1 in the conference and won the Region IX North Division. WWCC went 1-2 at the Region IX Tournament in Sterling, CO.
