PhotoFest: 2A East Regional Volleyball

The 2A East Regional Volleyball Tournament was held in Wright over the weekend with four teams out of 8 qualifying for the State Tournament that will start on Thursday. Big Horn played Burns for the regional title and that was a rematch of last year's 2A state championship match ( won by Burns) and a rematch of last year's 2A East Regional final (won by Big Horn). On Saturday, Big Horn earned the #1 seed with a straight-set win over Burns 25-16, 25-17 and 25-21. Tongue River took the #3 seed with a 25-21, 25-21 and 25-16 victory over Pine Bluffs.

So in the 2A bracket for the State Tournament, Big Horn meets Big Piney in the 1st round, Burns draws Shoshoni in round one, Tongue will play Rocky Mountain in the quarterfinals and Pine Bluffs will entertain Greybull.
