Cheyenne Central has been in the 4A home playoff game chase and upped their record to 3-3 with a huge 51-0 win over Cheyenne South on Friday night. Central's forte is running the ball and they got a rushing touchdown from Mason Counter in quarter #1 to lead 7-0. Counter added a 4-yard TD plunge in quarter #2 with Miles Porwoll scoring twice, on a 78-yard kick return and a 36-yard reception from Lane Clement. sandwiched in between that was a safety so Central had command of the game 30-0 at halftime.

The Tribe got another touchdown from Counter in quarter #3 plus a scoop and score from Aiden Herget. Campbell Smith concluded the scoring with a 13-yard run to the end zone in quarter #4. It was a difficult game in a difficult season for Cheyenne South as the Bison struggled mightily on offense and defense.

Central has their rivalry game vs. Cheyenne East at home on Friday night while 0-6 South will travel to Rock Springs this week. Be sure and take a look at some frames from the Central-South game from Casey Muffley and they can be viewed in our gallery below.
