Sheridan sprinter Addie Pendergast is a sensational athlete and will take her amazing skills to Stanford to continue her career at the college level.

Pendergast had a fabulous 4A State Outdoor Track Meet back in May in Casper as she set the overall state record in the 400-meter dash in 54.62. She also won the gold medal in the 100-meter dash in 12.03 which was a "Best of the Best" mark. The same thing goes for the 200 meters as she ran 25.19 at the state meet to take the top of the podium and a "Best of the Best" time. For added measure, Pendergast placed 2nd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 44.13 which is not a surprise considering her athleticism.

She did not compete in the 2022 State Meet due to transferring from Tongue River to Sheridan but made a mark at the 2021 State Meet for TR by winning the 2A championship in the 100, 400-meter, and 800-meter events.

At the State Indoor Track Meet back in March, Pendergast gave Sheridan a big boost with a 1st place finish in the 400, 2nd place in the 200 and the 800-meter run, and 5th place in the 55-meter dash. This year, she will skip indoor track and compete for the Bronc basketball team.

Stanford in Palo Alto, California will compete in the ACC next season after the demise of the Pac-12.
