Upton Boys Basketball Postgame Remarks

How good has the Upton boy's basketball program been lately? In the last 4 years, the Bobcats have won the State Championship in the 1A ranks 3 times along with a 2nd place finish. They have lost a grand total of 8 games over the last 4 years and capped this season with a dominating performance over Saratoga in the 1A title game. Upton had their way in that contest posting a 55-36 win as they shot 47% from the floor.

The Bobcats had 2 players named All-State in 1A, Ethan Schiller and Chase Mills. Schiller averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game while Mills threw in 15 per game. The Bobcats scorched Meeteetse in the first round of the State Tournament and pretty much did the same in the 2nd round vs. Farson-Eden. They were sharp in Casper for 3 straight days and rightfully earned the championship trophy.

We had an opportunity to talk with Ethan Schiller and Rhett Watt after that big win on Saturday at the Ford Center. They knew it was a performance to remember
