Wyatt Trembly of Dubois has enjoyed a stellar athletic career at the high school level in football, wrestling, and track. He won his 3rd 2A State Championship in wrestling on Saturday in Casper with a first-period pin of Wyatt Allred of Moorcroft at 190 pounds. He pinned all four of his opponents in the state tournament and spent a grand total of 1:53 on the mat. Trembly finished this prep career in style at 37-2.

Last season as a junior, he took 1st in the 2A 170-pound bracket with 3 pins in the 2A State Tournament and an overall record of 45-1. Trembly recorded 4 pins in the 2022 State Tournament en route to the 170-pound 2A championship and finished the year at 40-4. Even though he finished 2nd in his freshman year at 152 pounds, he still had 3 falls and was 32-2 in 2021.

Trembly is a 3-time All-State football player for the Rams and will continue his football career at Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. We talked with the young man after another impressive performance on the mat and it was business as usual.
