East Grad James Johnson, a first round pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 2009 NBA draft, has been traded to the Toronto Raptors.

At 6'9", he has had limited playing time in the NBA, playing a total of 78 games averaging 3.8 points per game and 1.9 rebounds. He recently completed a stint in the NBA Development League.

The former Wake Forest Demon Deacon, led East to the 4A state basketball championship in 2006. Toronto is scheduled to play in Denver, against the Nuggets on Monday, March 21st.
