The Buffalo cross-country meet was held with cool, pleasant temperatures at the picturesque TA Guest Ranch. The course was challenging and certainly fan-friendly. On The girls' side, the individual winner was Kinley Cooley of Powell with a time of 20.28.22. She took 7th at last year's 3A State Meet. Worland's Zena Tapia was 2nd in 20.34.33 and she was the 5th place finisher at the 3A State Meet. In the 3rd spot was Kenna Jacobsen from Powell in 20.41.94 and she took 14th at State last season. Buffalo freshman Maya Hall was 4th in 21.03.95 and Kelly Walsh freshman Lexie Longhurst was 5th in 21.09.39.

In the girls' team standings, Powell placed first with 26 points, Kelly Walsh 2nd with 37, Buffalo 3rd with 62, Douglas was in 4th with 129 and Tongue River 3rd with 131.

For the boys'. Worland's Trajn Swalstad paced the field to the finish line with a time of 16.48.08. He was the 8th place finisher at the 3A State Cros Country Meet a year ago. Alex Louria of Kelly Walsh took 2nd in 16.55.27 and he placed 12th at the State 4A Meet in 2022. His teammate Micah Colling was 3rd in 17.31.92 and he was in 14th place last year at State. Zach Friese from Buffalo was 4th in 17.41.30 with Worland's Jacob Holiday 5th.

Kelly Walsh won the team title with 38 points, Worland 2nd with 42, Buffalo 3rd with 66, Rawlins 4th with 132, and Powell 5th with 134.
