Photofest: Burlington Outguns Encampment in 6-Man Semi-Final

In 6-Man football, sometimes you need a calculator to keep track of the score. In the Burlington-Encampment semi-final round playoff game, there were touchdowns galore with both teams scoring at least 16 points in each quarter,

Burlington has an excellent player in Jordan Michaels who had a pair of touchdown runs in the first quarter plus a touchdown pass. He finished with 5 rushing touchdowns with 2 passing scores.

Quade Jordan of Encampment was a one-man wrecking crew who seemingly scored a touchdown every time he touched the ball. He found a way to get yardage around, past, or through Burlington's defense. Jordan entered the game with 1614 and 38 touchdowns so he had a remarkable season.

Both of these teams made this a super entertaining game which Burlington won 80-73. That puts the Huskies in the 1A 6-Man state championship game for the 2nd year in a row and will play Little Snake River for the 2nd year in a row for the title, Burlington is 9-1 on the year and Encampment finishes another solid season at 8-2. It's the Tiger's 5th straight winning season.
