Wrestling splits to six venues this weekend to decide state contestants and seeding. The 2A’s go in Upton and Cokeville, the 3A’s in Glenrock and Powell, and the 4A’s are at Cheyenne East and Green River.

Favorites, you ask? Look for Wright and Lusk to be atop the 2A East while Lovell, Cokeville, and Greybull/Riverside will battle for the top spot in the West.     3A has Powell as the team to beat on the West but don’t count out Worland. The East should be between Douglas and Wheatland.

4A has Gillette the overwhelming favorite in the East Central most likely second. The West should be exciting as Star Valely, Green River, and Natrona all have a great shot at taking the Regional title.

Upton hosts the 2A East. Teams include Burns-Pine Bluffs, Lusk, Hulett, Southeast ,   Midwest-Kaycee, Sundance, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Upton, Moorcroft and Wright.

Cokeville hosts the West with Greybull/Riverside, Lovell, Rocky Mountain, Shoshoni & Wind River as well as Big Piney, Cokeville, Dubois, Hanna Elk-Mountain, Kemmerer and Saratoga.

3A West in Powell has Worland, Mt. View, Cody, Lander, Jackson, Pinedale, Powell, and Lyman. The East in Glenrock will be Buffalo, Torrington, Wheatland, Rawlins, Glenrock, Douglas, Newcastle, Cheyenne South, and Thermopolis.

4A East competitors will be Gillette, Sheridan, Laramie, East, Central, and Kelly Walsh. The West in Green River include the Wolves, Riverton, Rock Springs, Evanston, Star Valley, and Natrona.
