Cokeville’s boys’ basketball team wants to continue its climb in Class 1A.

A loss in the third-place game to Saratoga capped the 2022-23 season. The Panthers were 13-13 overall last season, which included a 5-3 record and second-place finish in the 1A Southwest Quadrant. Cokeville was the 1A West Regional runner-up.

The Panthers bring back two all-state players, Jack Dayton and Justin Moyes.

WyoPreps had an opportunity to visit with seniors Drake Plowman and Jack Dayton, plus head coach Harold Hatch on our recent preseason basketball tour. We spoke about how preparation is going for the season, what the Panthers will be like this year, things they still need to get done before the first game, some early season goals, and more. We also asked some different and fun questions of the players.

Cokeville hasn’t won a boys’ basketball title since 1997. They have five in school history.

They want to take the next step in the 2023-24 season.
