XC Results: Oct 10-12
Cross Country races for the final week of the regular season were held in Buffalo, Powell, Rock Springs, and Cheyenne.
At Buffalo on Thursday, Matt Scarlett of Buffalo won the boy's race while Sadie Wassum of Worland won the girls. Teamwise, Newcastle won the boy's division with 5 in the top 7 places. The Buffalo girls were first on their side.
AT Keyhole Country Club in Pine Haven, the NE Triangular was held. Cayla Adams of Sundance-Hulett was first on the girl's side while Jace Walker, also of Sundance-Hulett, won the boys.
In Cheyenne, the Gillette girls put four in the top five and won it, led by Tabitha Simmons. Hunter Davila of Kelly Walsh was first on the boys side and his Trojans also won the team standings.
At Powell, Brody Smith of Cody was first on the boy's side while Anne Brinegar, also of Cody, was first on the girls side. Team scores were not available.
