Little Snake River Takes Care of Dubois in 1-v-2 Matchup [VIDEOS]

Top-ranked Little Snake River controlled their No. 1 versus No. 2 showdown with Dubois last Saturday, 62-20.

The Rattlers rolled up over 600 yards of total offense and ran their winning streak to 23 consecutive games after the victory in Baggs.

Things didn’t start as planned for LSR. They fumbled the opening kick-off, but a defensive stand helped the Rattlers regain control.

Bridger Cozzens got Little Snake River on the board with just under five minutes left in the first quarter for an 8-0 lead. Dubois answered with Wyatt Trembly’s 33-yard touchdown run, and the game was tied, 8-8.

LSR regained the lead for good on Seth Maxson’s 47-yard TD run with 4:22 left in the first quarter. Another Maxson TD run, this time from 42 yards away, made it 22-8. The Rattlers led 38-14 at halftime and continued to pull away in the second half.

Maxson ran for 387 yards and 5 TDs. Cozzens had 101 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Mason Jones added 122 yards passing and 2 TDs. Little Snake River finished with 610 yards of offense. Defensively, Maxson had 20 total tackles, which included one sack. Cozzens added 18 total tackles, with 3 tackles for loss. The Rattlers also recovered 3 fumbles.

Trembly led the Dubois Rams with 188 yards rushing and 3 TDs. He finished with 16 total tackles on defense with 2 tackles for loss.
