For the second straight week, Baggs, WY, is the site of the fan-voted WyoPreps Game of the Week for football with a No. 1 versus No. 2 showdown.

Top-ranked Little Snake River hosts second-rated Dubois.

Both teams won their season debut last week. The Rattlers rolled Meeteetse, 78-28. The Rams pasted Hulett, 75-12.

These two are the No. 1 and No. 2 rushing teams in Class 1A 6-man football after Week 1.

WyoPreps visited with both head coaches, David Trembly of Dubois, and Jack Cobb of LSR, before this game. The conversation focused on last week’s game for both teams, what each coach learned about their team, some key personnel, and knowing each other very well.

Little Snake River is led by Seth Maxson and Bridger Cozzens. Dubois counters with Wyatt Trembly and Jonah Oard.

It shapes up to be a great match-up on paper.

The Rattlers and Rams will meet for the 15th time on the gridiron, according to wyoming-football.com. LSR leads the series 9-to-5 and has won the last two games. They’ve met twice in state championship games with each team winning one. The first meeting was in 2011. Last year’s game in Dubois was won by the Rattlers, 44-28.

The kick-off is at 2 p.m. in Baggs.
