In an early season match-up of 2 pretty good 1A 6-man football squads, defending state champion and top-ranked Little Snake River posted a 44-28 road win over #2 Dubois on Friday, Little Snake River jumped out to a 16-point lead after one quarter of play and also outscored the rams 14-6 in the 3rd quarter.

Individually, Kannadis Peroulis of Little Snake River was sensational with a whopping 274 yards rushing on 24 carries with 3 touchdowns. Hadley Myers also was a sparkplug for the Rattlers with 155 yards rushing on 13 carries with a TD. Myers also had 9 solo tackles on defense with Seth Maxson recording 9 solo tackles.

For Dubois, Wyatt Trembly ran the ball 26 times for 185 yards and a couple of touchdowns and also caught 2 passes for 25 yards. Trembly also had 8 solo tackles on defense with Kaleb Gleim getting in on 6 solo tackles.
