There are a lot new items to keep track of heading into the 2026-27 high school sports year. WyoPreps tries to simplify the changes.

Six state champions were crowned in club softball at the 2026 USSSA Wyoming State Championships last weekend in Gillette.

These 16 coaches were honored by their peers for their work in spring sports in Wyoming at the high school and junior high/middle school levels.

Cheyenne East won its first softball title in school history in dramatic fashion, with a walk-off game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Lake was an all-state performer and led Cheyenne East to its first softball state championship in school history.

Players must have received first-team all-conference to be considered for all-state recognition.

The head coaches voted for honors based on the eight teams within the two regions, North and South.

Here are the final records for all 16 high school softball teams in Wyoming during the 2026 season.

The season ends with an eight-team, double-elimination state tournament bracket in Cheyenne.
