There are six events in the state on Friday or Saturday. The two largest track meets will be in Cheyenne and Glenrock.

Six Wyoming prep athletes from three high schools in the Cowboy State are competing in the 2026 track meet.

Most schools are not in competition over the upcoming holiday weekend. That means Thursday will be a busy day, weather-permitting.

Greybull junior Wyatt Whaley and Sheridan senior Christian Burgess were the winners.

Several teams make their season debut around the state and region. Six track meets will be in the state.

There are small in-state track meets in Afton, Casper, and Rock Springs. Pavillion hosts the largest event on Saturday.

The 12 were nominated by the Wyoming Coaches Association. They will be recognized at the NHSACA Convention.
