The two winners of the 51st Milward Simpson Award will be announced on Saturday, June 20. What's your opinion? Who do you think should win?

Ethan Leslie was selected as the Gatorade Wyoming Boys Soccer Player of the Year for 2025-26 on Friday. He's the second winner of the award from Kelly Walsh High School.

The finalists for the 2026 Milward Simpson Award were released on Monday. They are from seven high schools in the state.

Kelly Walsh won its first boys soccer title in 14 years behind a four goal performance by Ethan Leslie in Gillette. The Trojans beat Jackson 4-1.

Lander beat Cody in overtime, 2-1, for the first boys' soccer state championship in school history.

Head coaches in both classifications voted on these honors. Twenty-five players in 3A and 4A earned the distinction.

These players received all-conference accolades in a vote by the head coaches.

These are the final records for each boys' team in the state during the 2026 season.

Four teams will earn a state championship by the end of Saturday in Gillette. All four title games will be played at Thunder Basin High School.

Class 3A teams wrapped up their regular season last week. Class 4A teams competed in the two regional tournaments.
