WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER RANKINGS WEEK 7 2024
CLASS 4A POLLS
The Camels went 2-0 last week, which included a victory over then third-ranked Laramie. That tied them for the league lead and impressed enough votes, that Campbell County took over the top spot. The Camels received seven of the 13 first-place votes. They were three points ahead of Kelly Walsh, who dropped to second after they lost their first conference game to Riverton. Jackson went down to third, and Laramie fell one spot to fourth. The Wolverines' victory over the Trojans gave them enough attention that Riverton jumped into the top five for the first time this season at No. 5.
In 4A boys, Cheyenne Central and Kelly Walsh were tied at the top. Both had 147 points in the voting. The Indians earned seven first-place votes out of 12. The Trojans got four first-place votes but received seven second-place votes and a fifth-place vote, which resulted in the tie. Jackson, Sheridan, and Thunder Basin held their spot in third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.
CLASS 3A POLLS
The top three were the same in 3A girls. Cody still landed at the top with six of the nine first-place votes. Lander held a slim margin of three points in the voting for second over Worland. Douglas moved up one spot to fourth. Powell re-entered the rankings in fifth.
Finally, the top four kept their spot in the 3A boys poll. Torrington widened its lead for No. 1. The Blazers garnered seven first-place votes. Worland stayed in second but by only three points over Green River. Cody was steady at No. 4. Lander joined the top five for the first time this year in fifth.
