New WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Rankings on 10-14-26

More shifting throughout the 4A division and one team rejoining the 3A top five highlighted the eighth WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Poll of the 2026 season on Wednesday. Classes 1A and 2A had the same change. Perhaps the biggest surprise was no new top-ranked team in 1A.

EIGHTH WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RANKINGS 2026

The topsy-turvy bottom four of the 4A volleyball rankings continued. Thunder Basin and Evanston moved up. The Bolts climbed back to second, and the Red Devils followed to third. Natrona County fell to fourth after a loss at home last Friday. Cheyenne Central found itself in a tie for fifth with Green River. The one constant in 4A remained Kelly Walsh at the top with 15 of the 16 first-place votes.

After beating Wheatland last weekend, Tongue River returned to the 3A top five and replaced the Bulldogs at No. 5. The rest of the 3A rankings were the same as last week. Lovell earned all but one first-place vote. Douglas was second. Mountain View and Powell held onto third and fourth.

For the second straight week, the one change in both Class 1A and 2A was the fourth- and fifth-ranked teams flip-flopping.

In 1A, that meant Upton climbed back up to fourth, and Dubois dropped to fifth. Hulett kept the No. 1 ranking despite a head-to-head loss to Burlington at the 1A Wyoming Volleyball Jamboree in Casper last Friday. The Red Devils received one more first-place vote than the Huskies. Cokeville stayed third.

Pine Bluffs and Sundance swapped spots in the 2A rankings. The Hornets topped the Bulldogs in a tight five-set match last Friday. Big Horn was a unanimous choice at the top. Greybull remained second, and Southeast was third.
