Celebrating USA Softball of Wyoming’s 2024 State Champions

The USA Softball of Wyoming girls’ Junior Olympic (JO) fastpitch state tournament was last weekend in Gillette. The ten divisions featured 73 teams that competed for a state championship. Here are the eleven champions in 2024.

18B = Gillette Havoc: won the title 10-9 in 8 innings over Cody Pride

16/18C = Jackson Grizzlies (18U) & Cheyenne Devils (16U): Jackson won the game 10-7, but the 2 teams were awarded titles in the 2 rec age divisions; Lander Lady Legends were runner-up at 16U rec.

16B = WYCO Post 6 16U: won 16-8 over Wyoming Mystix Kelley 16U

14B = Laramie Lightning 14U Suloff: won the title 9-1 over WYCO 14U Boyer

14R = Lander Lady Legends 14U: won 16-3 over Gillette Blue Jays 14U

12B = Gillette Havoc 12U Young: won 7-4 over Laramie Lightning Lehning 12U

12R = Torrington Thunder 12U Jones: won the title 13-9 over Oil City Stars 12U

10B = Wicked 307 Olsen 10U: won 7-0 over Laramie Lightning Franz 10U

10R = Oil City Stars 10U: won 13-12 over Lander Lady Legends 10U

8U = Laramie Lightning 8U: won a title 18-15 over Lander Little Legends
