The sixth season of Wyoming High School softball came to a close last weekend with the state championships in Cheyenne. WyoPreps has the final records for all 16 teams in the state. The Cheyenne East Thunderbirds won their first state title on the diamond with a 5-4 victory in the second state championship game over rival Cheyenne Central. Senior Lexi Luethy had the game-winning, walk-off RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the T-Birds the victory and the championship trophy.

WYOPREPS LAST SOFTBALL STANDINGS FOR THE 2026 SEASON

Here are the final standings for the 2026 spring season. Eight teams won 20 or more games this year. Cheyenne Central had the most wins with 29. Both state champ East and Campbell County finished with 26 victories. Central took home the second-place trophy. Rock Springs finished third, and Cody took home the fourth-place trophy.
