2026 Wyoming USSSA State Softball Champions Crowned in Gillette

The 2026 USSSA Wyoming State Championships for softball were held in Gillette last weekend as the IPGSA Tournament of Champions/WY USSSA State Event. The tournament saw 78 teams from around the state compete across six age divisions. Champions were crowned in each age division along with consolation bracket winners.

Congratulations to the 2026 state champions. These teams won the top bracket in their age group. In the 18U division, Wyoming Mystix 18U- Meyer from Sheridan won the title. The Cheyenne Extreme Teasley team won the crown in the 16U division. In 14U, your champs were the Wyoming Havoc Young squad. From the 12U division, the Oil City Stars Fresquez were the champions of the Elite bracket. Cheyenne Extreme Smith won the title in the 10U division, and the Torrington Thunder captured the 8U crown.

Other bracket winners included the Casper Rebels Smith in the 18U silver bracket. From the 16U silver bracket, it was the Oil City Stars Scribner who finished first. In the 14U division, the silver bracket winner was WYCO Kammerman, and the Torrington Thunder Struble won the bronze bracket. The 12U gold bracket first-place team was the Casper Rebels Hodge. Wyoming Mystix Goche took first in the 12U silver bracket, and the bronze bracket was won by Cheyenne Extreme Martin. Finally, in the 10U division, the Oil City Stars Fresquez captured the silver bracket title, and the Wyoming Havoc Mannering was first in the bronze bracket.

Teams played pool play on Friday and Saturday and were divided into different double-elimination bracket levels based on the results. Saturday and Sunday featured bracket play. Towns represented by teams included Buffalo, Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette, Green River, Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Riverton, Rock Springs, Sheridan, and Torrington.

Under the USSSA banner for the first time, the tournament was sanctioned by the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association (IPGSA) out of Colorado.
