Wyoming High School Softball Standings on May 18, 2026

The prep softball season in Wyoming will finish later this week. The state tournament will be in Cheyenne. At the two regional tournaments, Campbell County finished first in the North, and Cheyenne East won the South. Natrona County, Kelly Walsh, and Cody also qualified for the state tournament from the North Region. At the South Regional Tournament in Rock Springs, Cheyenne Central, Rock Springs, and Wheatland won the two games needed to qualify. The rest of the teams saw their season come to an end.

Here are the standings for Wyoming High School softball teams after the regional tournaments were done. There were some surprises last weekend. Three 20-win teams did not qualify for the state tournament, but it's the sports cliche, of 'that's why you play the games.'

Cheyenne Central 25-6, 11-1

Cheyenne East 22-8-1, 7-5

Wheatland 18-14, 6-6

Torrington 8-22-1, 0-12

Laramie 22-7-2, 12-0

Rock Springs 17-15, 8-4

Green River 5-25, 3-9

Cheyenne South 3-27, 1-11
