WyoPreps is presenting our Athlete of the Week honors in the 2025-26 school year and into the summer of 2026. We spotlight deserving student-athletes based on how they fared in a competition week. We will accept nominations at any point during a competition week, which is Monday through Sunday. Please submit your nominations no later than noon on Mondays.

WyoPreps looks at each sanctioned high school sport, plus American Legion Baseball, Wyoming High School Rodeo, and all-star competitions throughout the year.

Help With Weekly Nominations

Nominations can come from anyone: a parent, a coach, a fan, student-athletes, etc. What is WyoPreps looking for? A student-athlete who separates themselves from the competition during that specific week. It is not just a feel-good award. We are looking for top-notch performances, and nominations should include statistics to back up a submission and an action photo of the student-athlete. We are not doing a fan poll.

Nominate a Wyoming student to be the WyoPreps Athlete of the Week using the form below. One note is that a nomination does not guarantee receipt of the award.

WyoPreps Athlete of the Year Honors

WyoPreps will award an Athlete of the Year in every single sanctioned high school sport throughout the school year, plus Wyoming Legion Baseball and High School Rodeo. WyoPreps will issue a total of 28 awards to the deserving student-athletes of our state throughout a calendar year (Aug. 18, 2025, through Aug. 9, 2026). These award winners are highlighted at various times over the next year. Good luck!
