3A Girls Basketball Semi-Finals 2019: Douglas Vs. Buffalo Recap

Basketball is sometimes a game of runs, and the last run of this game, was also the biggest.

After watching their 8-point half-time lead evaporate, Douglas would close the game (late 3rd and entire 4th quarter) on a 29-to-6 run, as the defending champs would win the rematch of last year's 3A State Title game vs. Buffalo, 62-to-39.

Allyson Fertig had a triple-double for the Lady Bearcats (25-1) with 25 points, 22 rebounds, and 10 blocks.

Kaydin Davis put in 12 points for the Lady Bison (20-6), who only shot 22.4% for the game, compared to 44.7% for the opposition.
