Big Horn Aims to Repeat as 2A Volleyball State Champion

Big Horn is the reigning 2A state champion in volleyball after defeating Sundance in 2021 in an epic championship match. Not much has changed with the Rams for 2022 as they return all 5 starters and have 3 players back who were named all-state; Emme Mullinax, Emma Prior, and Saydee Zimmer.

Big Horn had a very respectable 4th place finish in the gold bracket of the Gillette tournament over the weekend which was a tourney that featured more than a few 4A teams as well as out-of-state teams, The Rams ended up splitting 2 matches with 4A Natrona, and also beat Cheyenne Central, Spearfish, South Dakota and Glenrock. An effort like that will certainly help them down the road.
