Buffalo super athlete Dawson Hatch has decided on Chadron State in Nebraska in football as a defensive back. On defense this past season, Hatch was in on 39 tackles with one interception and 3 fumble recoveries. On offense, Hatch caught 29 balls for 574 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was productive running the football with 581 yards on the ground and 8 TD's. For his efforts, Hatch was named all-state in 2A.

He was also an all-state selection in 2018 with 71 tackles, so of those unassisted. On the offensive side, he had 140 yards and a touchdowns as well as 378 yards receiving and 6 scores. The Bison the 2A state title that season.

Hatch was an all conference pick in basketball in 2019-20 averaging 11 points and 3 rebounds per game.
