Wright super athlete Dax Yeradi will be going to Chadron State for football in 2020. He was a three time all-state selection in football with 1251 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns in his senior year. He was also in on 151 tackles on defense, 62 unassisted  with 4 interceptions and 6 fumble recoveries. In his junior year in 2018, Yerardi ran or 533 yards and 6 TD's with 125 tackles on defense and 7 interceptions. He was a quarterback in his sophomore year throwing for 1150 yards and a dozen touchdown passes. Yeradi was a stud on defense that season too with 57 solo tackles and 5 interceptions.

In wrestling, the young man was a two time all state selection with a 2A state championship in 2019 at 160 pounds and finished the season 24-3. He placed 2nd at state at 126 pounds in his sophomore year going 29-7 and took 5th at 126 in class 2A back in 2016.

If that's not enough, Yeradi won the 2A state championship in the pole vault in track & field clearing 14 feet 1 inch. He took 3rd in that same event in 2018 clearing 13 feet even and took 8th as a freshman with a vault of 11-6.

Yeradi is one of five finalists for the Milward Simpson award given to the state's outstanding prep athlete.
