Cody Football Postgame Remarks
Cody won all 11 games they played this year and in the rugged 3A West, that's saying something. The Broncs beat rival Jackson twice with the regular-season game a close contest and the 3A Championship a not-so-close game. Matt Nelson had 3 interceptions in the game and returned two for touchdowns. Remy Broussard also had a pick-six so 3 of those kinds of plays in the same game from the same team is a rarity indeed.
We talked with Nelson, Broussard, and coach Matt McFadden after that 41-24 win in Jackson on Friday night. They were happy campers!
