Cody’s Charlie Beaudrie to Attend Chadron State for Football
Charlie Beaudrie of Cody is one of the state's best athletes and battled some adversity in the fall with an ankle injury that forced him to miss most of the 2019 football season. But he's ready to go and will continue his career on the gridiron at Chadron State in Nebraska. Beaudrie was an all state running back in 2018 with 960 yards rushing and averaging 153 all purpose yards per game. In addition to that, Beaudrie was in on 3448 tackles on defense He was also named all state as a sophomore with 648 yards rushing for the Broncs and 5 touchdowns with 97 tackles on defense, 32 of them solo.
This guy really made a name for himself in wrestling with three state championships in 2020, he won the 3A 182 pound state championship and finished the year 35-5. Beaudrie also made the top of the podium in 2019 by winning the 3A 195 crown with an overall record of 44-7. His first state title came as a sophomore, taking first at 182 pounds, going 31-17.
