Cody football player Drew Trotter will be taking his gridiron skills northbound as he committed to Montana Tech in Butte. Trotter played a big role in Cody's undefeated and 3A championship season both running the football and catching the football.

He caught 28 balls for 457 yards and 6 touchdowns and his 6 TD's led the team in this category. Trotter ran the ball 85 times for 616 yards and 13 touchdowns, and those 13 TD's led the team in that category as well. Against Worland, Trotter had 117 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns and caught 4 balls for 104 yards in the Broncs game with Evanston. He was named 3A all-state at the wide receiver position.

In his junior year of football, Trotter found the end zone 5 times, 3 running, and 2 receptions. He also is a two-time qualifier for the State Wrestling Tournament as he went 2-2 at the  3A 2019 tournament at 152 pounds and finished the year 30-19. Trotter also made the big show in wrestling in his junior year in 3A at 160 pounds, going 2-2 and finishing with a 21-19 mark.
