The Dubois Rams were the #4 seed from the West in the 1A 6 Man football tournament and Hulett was the #1 seed from the East. These two teams met in the last week of the regular season which was won by Hulett 40-26.

On Friday in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs, Dubois turned the tables and beat Hulett 56-40 to get to the semi-finals. It was a tie game at halftime and Dubois outscored Hulett 16-0 in the 3rd quarter but the Red Devils made a game of it, outscoring the Rams 15-6 in the 4th quarter. It was really quite a game with a lot of ebbs and flows.

For Dubois, running back Wyatt Trembly ran wild with 337 yards rushing on 36 carries with six touchdowns. You don't see an effort like that every day. The Rams had 458 yards rushing in the game and 128 yards passing. The Ram's defense made just a few more plays than the Hulett defense. This is the first time that Dubois has qualified for the playoffs since 2015 and is 5-4 on the season. They'll finish the year .500 or above for the first time since 2014 and will be at Encampment for the semi-final round.

For Hulett, it was a tough way to end the season as they were 8-0 entering Friday's contest. This is the 4th consecutive year that the Red Devils have made the postseason. We have more than a few excellent photos of this game on Friday in our gallery, compliments of Adria Trembly.
