Dubois is certainly one of the contenders in 1A 6-man football with their lone loss coming to #1 Little Snake River in the 2nd week of the season. The Rams put it all together with a 71-18 home win over Meeteetse over the weekend in the mud.

It was an eventful first quarter of play as Dubois jumped out to a 24-12 lead but the Rams took over in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Longhorns 34-6. Dubois running back Wyatt Trembly turned in another terrific game with 237 yards rushing on 11 carries with 6 touchdowns. Those kinds of stats are par for the course for that guy. All told, Dubois had 347 yards rushing and 79 passing. Clayton Rux was in on 17 tackles and Ryan Wells was in on 10.

On the Meeteetse side, Joe Pina turned in another terrific game with 172 yards rushing on 15 carries with 3 touchdowns. This young man seems to be the fastest guy in the field just about every time. Pina and Jason Moody had 5 tackles apiece.

Dubois is 4-1 and is not scheduled for a 6-man conference game this week. Meeteetse is 1-5 on the year and will travel to Ten Sleep. Be sure and check out some great photos of the Dubois-Meeteetse game in our gallery below from Adria Trembly as well as Angie Erickson. Enjoy!
