Week 3 of Girls basketball rankings look an awful lot like what the boys poll did.  Just two new teams in any of the four polls this week.  #1’s are the same in Gillette, Douglas, Tongue River and Cokeville.

One of the newcomers is the Rock River girls in 1A.   Its the first time since Wyopreps has been compiling the rankings that the Lady Longhorns have cracked the top five.   They played last night and will take on Ten Sleep Friday and #2nd Ranked Lingle on Saturday.  Cokeville continues to rank #1 unanimously in 1A.

4A has Sheridan on top, Natrona second and East third.  All three shared the 16 top votes, The Lady Broncs, though took 12 of them.   Gillette  is fourth and Laramie fifth.  The Lady Camels go to Phoenix for the Nike Tournament of Champions.

3A has unbeaten and untested Douglas a unanimous #1.Star Valley is 2nd with Rawlins now third.   Powell ranks fourth while Torrington is back on the charts at #5.   Douglas goes to a tournament in Sydney, Nebraska, this weekend.

2A keeps Tongue River on top with 15 of the 16 #1 ballots.  Lovell, Thermop, Wind River and Burns round out the top five.  It is the same exact order as a week ago.
