The State Cross Country meet concluded on Saturday in Ethete with 3 new champions on the girls' side. Cheyenne Central's Sydney Morrell took the 4A crown, Lander's Ameya Eddy was the 3A champion and Mallory Jones of Moorcroft won the 2A title. Morell and Eddy were both 4th place finishers at State a year ago and Jones was 2nd so all three made the next logical step forward.

We talked to all 3 after the conclusion of their respective races and all three were thrilled about winning the big State Meet.
