The 3A West week in and week out has been tough on all the teams but Jackson has run the table with just one loss to an out-of-state team. The Broncs squared off with Powell on Friday in a game where the defenses stood up and made more than a few big plays.

Both Jackson and Powell forced one turnover each and this game was even at 14 all in the 3rd quarter before Brody Hasenack broke the tie with a touchdown run. The Panthers couldn't muster another score as the Bronc defense held the wall. Jackson won this one 21-17 in a hard-fought game so the Broncs are 7-1 on the year.

Jackson did get 333 yards of offense in the game and Powel rang up 290. Both teams were relatively balanced when they had the football but the defenses did make it tough to get to the end zone.

Jackson will be at defending 3A champion Cody and the winner of that game will get the #1 seed from the West in the #A playoffs with the loser getting the #2 seed. Powell is 5-3 overall and will finish the regular season with a home game against Evanston. The Panthers. The winner of that game will make the playoffs as the 4th seed and the loser will be out.

We have more than few great photos from Tammy Griebel from that Jackson-Powell game in Teton County so be sure and check those out!
