Jackson’s Jeydon Cox Inks with Chadron State for Football
Jackson running back Jeydon Cox has decided on Chadron State in Nebraska to continue his football career.
In 2019, Cox led 3A in rushing with 2038 yards along with 22 touchdowns. He had an astounding 268 yards rushing vs. Riverton and averaged over 7 yards per carry. Cox averaged 234 all-purpose yards per game as Jackson had the #1 running game in 3A in 2019. He was named all-state for his efforts.
He was equally effective in 2018 turning in another all-state season with 2257 yards rushing on a whopping 299 carries. Cox found the end zone 21 times running the football and had a 281-yard game vs. Lander. Five times during the season, Cox ran for over 240 yards and averaged 267 all-purpose yards per game. He led 3A in rushing and Jackson once again was the #1 rushing team in 3A.
Cox also competed in track in his prep career in the 100 and 200-meter dashes and the long jump.
