After a 3rd place finish at the 1A East regional, the Kaycee volleyball team knew that they needed a new approach for the State Tournament in Casper. They found a winning formula that included wins over two of the better teams in 1A volleyball in Wyoming, that being Little Snake River and Cokeville.

Kaycee at one point during the regular season was ranked #1 in our WyoPreps poll so they had the resources to win and win a lot. The Bucs won 30 matches this season but none bigger than knocking off defending champion Cokeville on Saturday in Casper in 4 sets.

Buckaroo players Bindi Hill and Sierra Kilts as well as coach Kylie Richendifer shared their thoughts about that momentous occasion.
