Kelly Walsh’s Gavin Thomas Commits to Chadron State for Football

Kelly Walsh's Gavin Thomas had his work cut out for him on the football field in 2019. He manned the offensive and defensive line for the Trojans so that's a lot of work. Thomas will be taking that work ethic to the state of Nebraska to play for the Chadron State Eagles.

In 2019, Thomas was named to the 2nd team all-state list in 4A as a defensive lineman as he 39 tackles, 18 solo, and 2 fumble recoveries. He averaged 3.9 tackles per game so he was busy on that d-line. In 2018 as a junior, Thomas recorded 25 tackles, 11 solo, with 2 sacks, and a fumble recovery.
