The Lander girls basketball team scratched and clawed their way into the 3A state tournament despite a sub .500 record. The Tigers did win 2 games at the 3A West Regional tournament to punch their ticket state, posting victories over Big Piney and Pinedale. The Tigers were the 4th seed going into the state tournament and put them in a very tough spot, facing eventual state champion  Douglas in the first round. The Tigers lost 66-27 as Demi Stauffenberg was in double figures with 10. In the consolation round, Lander was eliminated by Mountain View 46-23. For the year, Stauffenberg and Rhoni Ferris were both named all-conference. The good news for the program is that everybody returns for next season with the exception of one.
