Lander’s Abigail Renner Signs NLI With Black Hills State

Lander volleyball player Abigail Renner will be headed to Spearfish, South Dakota to play for Black Hills State in the fall. Over the course of three years, Renner had 1029 kills and 853 digs as the Tigers made two appearances in the state tournament. Her new coach at BHSU, Kristen Carmichael says, "Abby is a very athletic player who jumps well and has a great work ethic, she also fits in really well with our team culture.  Abby is smart and fast which will help her as she adapts to the college level game and builds on her skills as a 6-rotation pin hitter".  Lander this past season went 22-12 and lost not one but two excruciating 5 set matches at the state tournament. Renner is 3 sport athlete for the Tigers, playing basketball and soccer as well.
