The first Division-I commitment in the Class of 2024 for volleyball has Laramie’s Maddy Stucky staying at home at the University of Wyoming.

Stucky is entering her junior year this fall at Laramie High School. The two-time all-state and all-conference player made her college choice known over the weekend. Maddy follows in her older sister’s footsteps and will play at the D-I level. Alexis Stucky (Class of 2022) is playing at the University of Florida.

As a sophomore last fall, Stucky helped Laramie to a 32-2 record and win their second consecutive Class 4A volleyball state championship. She had a team-high 736 assists and added 172 kills in the 2021 season. Stucky also led LHS with 57 service aces and was third on the team with 47 total blocks. She had 212 digs in the 2021 season, which was third on the team.
