Little Snake River came into the 1A 6-Man title game on Saturday in Laramie as the defending champs and played like champions as they dismantled Burlington 55-8. The Huskies scored first on a 45-yard run from quarterback Seth Wardell but that was it for the Burlington offense for the rest of the day.

Little Snake River answered with a pair of touchdown runs from Kannadis Peroulis that went for 45 and 3 yards respectively. Peroulis rang up 208 yards rushing in the contest on 16 carries. Hadley Myers turned in the next 2 touchdowns for the Rattlers with 60 and 56 receptions from quarterback Zane Matheson. Seth Maxon recorded the next 2 LSR TDs on a 69-yard pick-six and a 5-yard reception. Myers got the last 2 scores on runs of 21 yards and 6 yards. He had 90 yards rushing for the day and the team had 298 on the ground.

The Little Snake River defense was outstanding considering the talent that Burlington had and the wide-open nature of 6-Man football. The Rattlers went 11-0 this season and 10-0 last season for back-to-back state championships. Burlington concluded the year at 9-2.

Be sure and check out our video of that game on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium and plenty of pics from Annette Moss and Karen Peroulis in our gallery below. Enjoy!
