Little Snake River Remains Unbeaten With Playoff Win over Kaycee
Back in 2019, Little Snake River won the state championship in 1A 6 Man football without losing a game. The Rattlers are on a similar path this season with an 8-0 record following a 62-8 win over Kaycee in the first round of the playoffs.
Hadley Myers had 151 yards rushing with a 62 yard run for a touchdown for the Rattlers. He also was 7-11 for 109 yards throwing the football with two touchdowns. Seth Maxon caught a couple of TD balls and Zane Matheson had three touchdown throws.
On the other side of the ball, Zander Risner racked up 34 defensive points with Isiah Skalberg accumulating 15 defensive points. So Little Snake River will host Meeteetse on Friday in the 6 Man semi-finals. During the regular season, the Rattlers beat the Longhorns 29-23. Kaycee finished the season 2-6 but did make the playoffs after losing their first 5 games of the year.
