Little Snake River Stays Perfect in 1A 6-Man Football
Defending 1A 6-Man state champion Little Snake River has a 9-0 record so far this season and cruised by Hulett 65-6 in the opening round of the postseason over the weekend. The Rattlers put up 45 points in the first quarter of play and never looked back. LSR had 253 yards rushing in the game and received 2 rushing touchdowns from Hadley Myers and Kannadis Peroulis. Quarterback Zane Matheson threw a couple of touchdown passes and Mason Jones had an interception return for a TD.
On defense for the Rattlers, Myers was in on 6 tackles, Peroulis and Seth Maxon were in on 5. Little Snake River has outscored their opponents 503-85 and their only close game of the season came in week 2 vs. Dubois. Next up for the defending champs will be a home semi-final round playoff game against Encampment on Friday at noon. During the regular season, LSR beat Encampment 78-26.
