Mountain View Looks to Repeat as 3A Volleyball Champions

Mountain View won the 3A state championship in volleyball back in 2020 but they had to re-tool for the 2021 season. It's a good thing they have plenty of depth as they have a superior big-hitter in Ashlee Timms and a couple of returning all-state players in Camri Hutchings and Kaycee Bugas.

The Buffaloes are 25-2 heading into this week's action and saw some very good competition in the 3A Duals in Lovell over the weekend. That tournament featured 4 of the top 5 teams in 3A as Mountain View was ranked #1.

Timms can take over matches with her power and this is just a well-rounded team that does everything well. The Buffs did lose to Lander in their last match in the Lovell tournament but sometimes, you can learn something in defeat.
