There is not a lot of change in the week six edition of the WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Football Rankings.

The top two classifications, 4A and 3A, feature no movement. There are three newly ranked teams and all of them appear at No. 5 in their division. Also, it’s only small moves elsewhere

The top five remain the same in Class 4A. Thunder Basin is unanimous for the top spot in the big school division with all 19 first-place votes. Sheridan received the majority of second-place ballots. Natrona County holds steady at No. 3 with Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central rounding out the top five.

The same holds true in Class 3A, as Star Valley continues to be the only choice for No. 1. The Cody Broncs remain in the second position, while Jackson, Douglas, and Powell stay three, four, and five, respectively.

It’s still Mountain View and Buffalo in first and second in Class 2A. Big Piney makes the jump up to third this week. Thermopolis checks-in at No. 4, while Burns is back in the rankings in fifth.

Big Horn holds the top spot for Class 1A. The Rams received all but one first-place vote. Upton-Sundance is back at No. 2, which pushes Cokeville back to third. Those two are separated by only three points in the poll. Southeast is now fourth, while Lusk is back at No. 5.

Finally, in 6-man football, the top three are unchanged. Little Snake River is first, followed by defending champion Farson-Eden second, and H.E.M. holds in third. Hulett maintains its position at No. 4. Saratoga is back in the balloting at fifth.
